WELCOME TO A GRANDFATHER'S LEGACY PROJECT

As a history major in college, I had no idea how I'd make a career out of history. A few months before graduating in 2018, I started an internship at an archive where I miraculously uncovered a piece of my grandfather's history. After conducting further research, I discovered a small selection of historians who had written about my grandfather's story but still the information was limited. Over the years, I've been encouraged by my mentors and heroes to lead the way in sharing this important piece of history. This is my story to tell.
Today, I've made it my mission to share my grandfather's legacy through research, preservation, and storytelling.
A Grandfather's Legacy Project will serve as an easily accessible hub of information about my grandfather, Ronald Williams, and the Alabama Black Liberation Front (ABLF).
